The debate is very instructive and is carefully analyzed by Nathan Oakley and his panel, breaking down the mistakes that were made by Whitsitt as well as Shelley. This video, while is it a long video, should be mandatory viewing for anyone in search of the truth on the matter of cosmology and the shape of the earth as well as the debate of geocentrism vs heliocentrism. It is an instructive and educational video on substantive and procedural issues, and the vast majority of people on either side of the fence, have confused many of these issues and do not distinguish substantive issues from procedural arguments. Flat Earth Debate Between a Flat Earther and a Pastor
In this debate, it is very probative that it is the “Pastor” who argues for an unbiblical interpretation of Earth’s creation story, one that is also inconsistent with true “science” as opposed to “pseudoscience.” But it should also be noted that this Pastor is joined by almost every pastor in America, who like the rest of us, were propagandized and brainwashed from the day we fell out of our baby cribs. We all believed in a globe in a heliocentric system. Staying with the popular narrative of a spherical Earth is the easy path as you won’t be criticized by friends and family and coworkers. It is much harder to wake up and do the intense research over a period of months and years, and to then take that long hard look in the mirror and swallow one’s pride to acknowledge that “I have been deceived my whole life!” We strongly recommend you watch this video for your own education, and so you can learn to think clearly through all the complex and manipulative arguments that are constantly raised. Consider this: It does you no good at all to remain in a perpetual state of cognitive dissonance. The implications of refusing to take the red pill has lifelong consequences. Of course, taking the blue pill is more comfortable, less risky, and you can go back into the matrix even though it’s a lie. It’s hard work and it takes patience and perseverance, but watching videos like this could be the most important education you will get in this world.
