Why do parents homeschool their children? We who have homeschooled our children know exactly why. The public school curriculum was weaponized against young believers long ago. This author was trained and certified as a high school teacher at a University in 1978, and I still have vivid memories of the psycho-babble of the entire Education Department professors. Even back then the U.S. Department of Education had been infiltrated with radical anti-God atheists and evolutionists and communist ideologues.
In the 1970s and ’80s, homeschooling was largely driven by christian values, and we wanted our children to get a good education in the three Rs, “reading, writing, and ‘rithmatic” as we liked to quip. But we also wanted our children to grow up with the values that we taught at home, which we took from the instructions we found in the Bible.
We wanted to teach our children truth from the Bible, right and wrong from the Bible, and we wanted them to be well grounded in Biblical doctrine. All of this was very hard work 24/7 with our children as any parent knows, but many of us recognized 40 plus years ago that our public education system was not just promoting ineffective teaching methodologies, it actually began to teach anti-God lies that sought to turn our children away from our parenting philosophies.
Slowly entire education departments at Universities around the country began to adopt radical secular teaching philosophies, and young teachers were indoctrinated so they could go out and fill the schools around the country with an army of God-hating liberals whose assignment it was to brainwash several generations of children until the whole country was destroyed of all goodness and everyone was turned away from the True God.
Those teachers who were christians or just good people did not fight against the devious agendas aggressively put in place, but just went along with the system to get their paychecks and eventually their retirement. There was no more obvious implementation of the famous warning that, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”1This quote is often attributed to Edmund Burke, but it is debated as to who really said this. There are many candidates, but attribution is less important here than the truth of the statement.
The public education philosophy has been shredded by educated idiots, like a famous physicist by the name of Richard Feynman:
“You see, one thing is, I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it’s much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. I have approximate answers and possible beliefs and different degrees of certainty about different things. But I’m not absolutely sure of anything, and there are many things I don’t know anything about, such as whether it means anything to ask why we’re here, and what the question might mean. I might think about it a little bit; if I can’t figure it out, then I go onto something else. But I don’t have to know an answer. I don’t feel frightened by not knowing things, by being lost in the mysterious universe without having any purpose, which is the way it really is, as far as I can tell — possibly. It doesn’t frighten me.”
This is not education: It’s idiocy. It is the opposite of education. This is the kind of nonsense I was taught in the education department at the University of Alaska.
So our education system has sought the lowest common denominator in morality, and it’s long descent has been nothing less than shocking since I was a high school teacher in the late ’70s. As bad as it was decades ago, none of us imagined they would be teaching little children to have sex at the earliest possible age, that there is no such thing as male and female, that you can choose your own pronoun and your identity can be anything you want, that you can have free condoms, that there is no such thing as truth, that history is not at all what your parents taught you, and that evil is good and good is evil. Never did my parents’ generation think public schools would one day be teaching our children that there is no God and never was!
Who could have imagined that kindergarten children would be exposed to “reading hour” in which an obese man in his 40s would be dressed up like a woman with his face painted, wearing a wig, and reading the kids a story about two gay boys discussing their private parts. And who could have ever thought the school districts would promote such programs, that school boards would endorse them, and that the school districts would tell complaining parents that the school district should be making all the education decisions, not the parents?
It never occurred to me in the late ’70s that one day our public schools would have unisex bathrooms in which transgender gay boys would be allowed to use the girls’ bathroom, or locker rooms in which boys and girls use the same space, or that a girl could be raped by one of these transgender boys, and the school district would not do anything to protect such girls and would not do anything to punish such a boy.
But it just gets worse and worse. Now parents who attend school board meetings are investigated by the FBI as “terrorists.” The public school system has been turned into a means to imprison parents, especially christian parents.
So bad has the curriculum at the University level become, Christians young people who spend four years or more in the radical left propaganda environment are likely to need to be deprogrammed. I recommend watching this testimony of a woman whose mother hired a deprogrammer to specifically do that, and the process was very much the same as deprogramming someone who had been in a cult. It appears that homeschooling is coming back with a vengeance. God willing, the resources offered here will help homeschooling parents teach their children the true story of creation as told in the Bible. Why is this subject so important?
The creation of the Heavens and the earth are not only showing us the glory of what God did create, but it also reveals God’s glory and much about God himself. Moses is credited for writing the book of Genesis, but where did Moses get his material? God told Moses exactly what to write, starting with God’s own version of the creation of the earth.
It is a tragedy that virtually no churches are teaching God’s version of his own creation. God was actually there when the earth was created as a first hand witness. He is the Creator, and he wanted you and me, and our children, to know exactly how he created the earth and what it is. This is told quite clearly in the Bible, but the story has been highjacked by Satan long ago and turned into an anti-God, big bang, Darwinian lie.

Did you know the Bible teaches us very clearly that the earth is not a globe, that it was hung exactly where God placed it, that the earth shall not move, meaning it does not rotate, and it does not revolve around the sun? This means our solar system is not heliocentric with the sun at the center. The Copernicus theory, adopted by NASA, has been the biggest scam in the history of the world, and you and I grew up in a culture that bombarded us daily, and still does, with pseudoscience and bald-faced lies.
Did you know the Bible describes the earth as having corners, pillars, a foundation, and that there is a firmament above us that is a hard crystalline-like substance that God used to separate waters above from waters below on the earth? Did you know the Bible states that God’s throne is literally on top of this firmament and that he looks down on the circle of the earth at us like we are grasshoppers? Did you know that God describes the earth as a circle and not a sphere? And did you know that God said he created the sun and the moon and the stars within the firmament, not in “outer space”?
Isn’t it time you and your children were no longer duped into believing a theory that has as the core of it’s philosophy and theology the argument that there is no God of creation? First, educate yourself, and secondly educate your children so they will not be deceived in the last days as so many are and will be.
