Did you know the heliocentric model with the sun at the center of the solar system and the earth and all the planets revolving around the sun is modeled after occult practices and Satan worship? Most Christians do not know the world they live in is full of symbols modeled after false gods. Frankly, it’s quite surprising pastors and theologians don’t talk about this, but we will in this article.
The worship of false gods is nothing new. History is replete with man’s desire to worship false gods, and God’s own people, the Jews, were no exception. Even while Moses was receiving the 10 Commandments from God on Mount Sinai, at the bottom of the mountain God’s chosen people were demanding that Aaron make them images of false gods so they could worship them.
Every single empire back to the Babylonian empire has had its own mythology, and Kings and Queens relied upon their false gods to rule their kingdoms. I would venture to say that the vast majority of people don’t realize how prevalent and pervasive mythology is in our lives. Mythology and the worship of false gods is found throughout the world in the greatest and most expensive paintings, in the great sculptures of the world, in movies, games, and music, in literature, architecture, and even in astronomy and science.
If you think about the photos you’ve seen of the massive cathedrals of Catholicism, or if you’ve ever toured Saint Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican, you’ll recall the impressive but evil sculptures and paintings of mythological gods. They’re everywhere in Catholic cathedrals. That’s another rabbit hole worth exploring, but not today.
There are many myths, but let’s focus today on myths surrounding the heliocentric model of our world, which places the sun at the center of everything, and all other planets and the earth bow down to worship the sun as they revolve around the sun for eternity. Volumes have been written on mythology and false gods, so this is just a quick flyover of mythology.
“Myths of origin” or “creation myths” represent an attempt to explain the beginnings of the universe in human language. The most widely accepted version at the time, although a philosophical account of the beginning of things, is reported by Hesiod, in his Theogony. He begins with Chaos, a yawning nothingness. Out of the void emerged Gaia (the Earth) and some other primary divine beings: Eros (Love), the Abyss (the Tartarus), and the Erebus.[23] Without male assistance, Gaia gave birth to Uranus (the Sky) who then fertilized her. From that union were born first the Titans—six males: Coeus, Crius, Cronus, Hyperion, Iapetus, and Oceanus; and six females: Mnemosyne, Phoebe, Rhea, Theia, Themis, and Tethys. After Cronus was born, Gaia and Uranus decreed no more Titans were to be born. They were followed by the one-eyed Cyclopes and the Hecatonchires or Hundred-Handed Ones, who were both thrown into Tartarus by Uranus. This made Gaia furious. Cronus (“the wily, youngest and most terrible of Gaia’s children”), was convinced by Gaia to castrate his father. He did this and became the ruler of the Titans with his sister-wife, Rhea, as his consort, and the other Titans became his court. [Source: Greek Mythology, Wikipedia]
The more you dig into Greek mythology and all mythologies, the deeper and deeper the rabbit hole goes. You begin to see how deeply entrenched our cultures and belief systems are in mythology, and how these beliefs deceptively push us away from total dependence upon the One True God.
The Mythology of The Heliocentric System
In the Copernicus/NASA model, also known as the heliocentric model, the sun is the prominent center of the entire solar system. The solar system with the sun god at the center is modeled after ancient mythology. Just as the sun god of mythology was named “Helios,” so our system in which the sun is at the center is called “heliocentric.”
The sun god dwarfs the lesser beings, just as our sun is said to be so large that 1.3 million earths could fit inside it, according to NASA’s statistics. The sun has the power to destroy its worshipers, just as our sun could allegedly destroy earth or any of the planets with a single solar flare. Hence, we on earth are always at the mercy of the random anger of the sun.
The earth worships the sun by rotating around the sun night and day for all eternity, past and future. And to add to the imagery, planets were added to the scheme, and they also revolve around the sun like dutiful worshipers.
Did you know that the Greek word for deception (planeo) used by Jesus three times in Mathew 24 is from the same Greek origin as the word used for planets? Jesus made no mistakes in the words he used to describe the end of days, and his number one caution for those of us who would live in the last days was “do not be deceived.”
God didn’t call earth a “planet” or any word whose derivative finds its root in planeo. God called it “earth,” and in Hebrew it looks like this in Strong’s: “h0776. אֶרֶץ ’ereṣ; from an unused root probably meaning to be firm”. In other words, when God speaks of the earth, he describes it as something that is firm or solid.
Let’s look closer at the planets, and remember, earth is not a planet. All of the planets were named after Greek and Roman gods and goddesses. God named earth, but guess who named all the planets. I’ll give you one hint. It was not God. There’s Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, Venus, and Mercury. These were named thousands of years ago.
Mercury was named after the Roman god of travel. Venus was named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. Mars was the Roman god of War. Jupiter was the king of the Roman gods, and Saturn was the Roman god of agriculture.
The other planets were named later when telescopes were available. Uranus was named after an ancient Greek king of the gods. Neptune was the Roman god of the sea. Pluto was the Roman god of the underworld.
Even though it was thousands of years later, the same tradition of naming the planets after Greek and Roman gods and goddesses was maintained for these later planets. Does this tell you anything about the plan that was implemented over a period of thousands of years to fool people? Can you think of anyone evil enough to come up with such a scheme and who lives for thousands of years?
How much more obvious could this Satanic scheme be right in your face than it is? The word planet is based on the Greek word for deception (lit. to wander or stray), and the names of all the planets are all names of Greek and Roman gods and goddesses. What an insult to God for the whole of creation to observe!
And the frosting on the heliocentric cake is the sun god, Helios, at the center with all others worshiping Helios.
God’s Geocentric System
The Bible tells us in Genesis that God created light on the first day of creation. On the second day, he created the firmament, a hard crystalline substance upon which the throne of God sits. On the third day he separated the water from the water on either side of the firmament, and he separated the land from the water. On the fourth day, he created the sun and moon and stars, and he placed the sun and moon “in the firmament.”
Notice in God’s creation, the earth exists first, and the sun is created later, and the sun is placed in the firmament that encompasses the earth. According to the Bible, the sun and the moon move, but the earth absolutely does not move and never has.
“The sun rises, and the sun goes down, and hastens to the place where it rises.” 1 Ecclesiastes 1:5 (ESV)
The sun moves, and God wanted us to know this, but he mysteriously makes no mention of the earth moving, unless it doesn’t move, in which case it’s not mysterious that he doesn’t mention that. Apparently God wanted to make a point by saying that the “sun hastens to the place where it rises.” The word “hasten” connotes subservience, not dominance. If the sun hastens, it is not the greatest of stars, and if it hastens, it is subservient to the earth, rather than the earth being subservient to the sun. Why would God say the “sun hastens” to return if the earth as his greatest creation of all, rotates around the sun as its master?
“Worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness; tremble before him, all the earth; yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.” 1 Chronicles 16:29-30 (ESV)
If God said it “shall” never be moved, then it must not revolve or rotate, unless God somehow forgot that it revolves and rotates. In law we learn the difference between “shall” and “will.” “Shall” is mandatory, not optional like the word “will.” Shall as used by God is a command, not a request. When God commands that the earth shall never move, it is a permanent command, not a request that could be adjusted or changed by astronomical forces beyond God’s control.1Also see • Psalm 93:1, Psalm 96:10 .
In God’s creation he sits on his throne on top of the firmament looking down upon the “circle of the earth,” which is not a sphere. All of us on earth look upward to heaven and to God on his throne on top of the firmament.
In God’s system, the inhabitants of the earth worship their Creator God above them, and the earth is the center of God’s creation as we know it. The sun and the moon and the stars serve the earth by providing light by day and night and heat, and they are much smaller than the earth indicating inferiority. The earth is at the center where it does not move, but the sun and the moon and the stars move around the earth.
Can you see from this simple comparison how Satan has counterfeited God’s amazing creation story to fit Satan’s own version of the world with a complex system that opened the door to pseudoscience and scientism in order to deceive the people and turn as many as possible away from God?
