Let’s all make sure there’s no confusion. Whether a genuine christian who is saved by the blood of the Lamb believes in flat earth or a globe, he cannot lose his/her salvation. There are many issues of the christian faith on which people can differ. That’s the story of christianity from the beginning. We do know this:
Salvation is found in Christ alone, and that is clear throughout the scriptures.
But for genuine believers who are saved by the blood of the Lamb, there is no losing one’s salvation even if you believe wrongly that the earth is a sphere with a radius of 3,950, rotates at 1,037 mph at the equator and revolves at 66,600 mph around the sun.

Having made that clear, this does not mean that God’s story of creation is unimportant. God’s creation of the earth is obviously important to God, and we know that the Heavens declare his glory. If you believe in a lie about creation, one that is totally inconsistent with how God described creation in the Bible, even though God won’t snatch your salvation from you, do you really think the whole subject is irrelevant? Do you really think that if you believe lies from Satan about creation that it doesn’t matter to God?
If the earth is just as described literally throughout the Bible, and it is not a globe and the earth does not rotate or revolve around the sun, and you constantly mock believers who trust in the literal meaning of God’s Word, are you not mocking God’s Word?
I’ve been told that by believing in a flat earth and talking about it as described in Genesis and elsewhere that I’m “bearing false witness against God.” But turn that mirror around my friend. Suppose you are supporting Satan’s counterfeit story of creation, are you not bearing false witness against God?
At least believers like me have done the hard research and analysis of the entire Bible on this subject, and at least we’ve examined the pseudoscience of NASA, and spent years doing our due diligence to make sure we understand what the Bible actually says. We’ve studied the Hebrew meanings of all the words used in creation verses, and all the related verses through the Bible that describe the foundation of the earth, the pillars, the four corners, the firmament and how the sun and stars and moon are within the firmament, and how the earth is hung exactly where God placed it and how it shall never move and does not rotate or revolve. We’ve read what God said to Job about creation.
I know I’m not mocking God, and I know I’m not bearing false witness against God, because I’m taking God’s Word literally for what it says in God’s own words. The Bible tells us a day of God’s wrath will come, and there will be no excuse, because God has made his existence known in creation and in the world we live in:
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, that is, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, being understood by what has been made, so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:18-20 (NASB 2020)
Does anyone really think God would try to trick us by describing the earth as perfectly still and flat in great detail throughout the entire Bible without a single verse or a single reference to a globe? God is not a liar! The liar is Satan! The real counterfeiter is Satan. He has tried to counterfeit every one of God’s creations.
Who do I choose to believe? I choose to believe God. I choose to believe God’s Holy and inerrant Word, and I choose not to believe unproven nonsense from NASA and anti-God pseudoscientists like Bill the Science Guy and Neil deGrasse Tyson. They have no authority over the Word of God, and NASA does not stand above the Bible.
My soul is and always will be safeguarded by God, not NASA and not the Catholic Church, which owns and operates the largest telescope on earth, which they conveniently named “Lucifer.”
For those who say that we as flat earthers are bearing false witness against God or against our fellow believers, I would say, “Come back with your claims after you’ve spent the years of hard work doing the studying and research as we have. Don’t shoot from the hip and make accusations when you haven’t even done the hard work!”
Globers just love to say, “Oh, believe me, I’ve done my homework!”
No they have not. I haven’t met one who actually has. I have not met one who actually knows the true Genesis story of creation. They have no idea what the firmament is and what it contains. They have never done a Hebrew word study of the word “vault.” When was the last time a glober read the Bible from cover to cover? How about never? They haven’t done their homework. They shoot from the hip, and they believe what they want to believe.
So you tell me, who is bearing false witness against God?
